Profile
Freia is a member of the Ashen Wolves. She was a student at the Officers Academy, but was expelled after an incident broke out between herself and a student from the Black Eagles house. Despite her bold and guarded exterior, she carries with her a warmth that is said could bring comfort to even the harshest of colds.
Early Life
She was born in the year 1160, on the 23rd of the Wyvern Moon, in the countryside of Duscur. Having moved to the capital of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, Fhirdiad when she was only a year old. Her mother was a court mage serving the King of Faerghus, and her father an unnamed man from Duscur, both of whom passed away from untimely illness when Freia herself was too young to remember.During her childhood, Freia was raised close to the Royal family as an unofficial Ward of the King. Despite being the last descendant from a now defunct noble house, she was brought up with the intent of serving the future King, Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd. However, after the passing of her mother and the events that took place during the Tragedy of Duscur, Freia was sponsored to attend the Officers Academy at Garreg Mach Monastery, where she would ultimately join the Blue Lions house. In Imperial Year 1178, Freia officially enrolled in the Officers Academy. As an adept of magic and swordplay, she did so under the direct sponsorship of the crown of Faerghus. However, after an unfortunate accident where her magic was turned against another student, she was expelled to Abyss, where she would ultimately take up residence.
Academy Phase
In Imperial Year 1180, Freia can be found wandering the halls of Abyss. If Byleth recruits her to the Blue Lions house, she will show up to lectures alongside Byleth's other students; however, if Byleth does not recruit her, she does not become a student.Unlike students from other houses, Freia is not a student at the Garreg Mach Monastery Officer's Academy, but rather a personal student of Byleth.
Cindered Shadows
Freia is first seen in the Cindered Shadows storyline. She is the last member of the Ashen Wolves to join the fight against Aelfric, having previously travelled in the shadows after secretly aiding Yuri throughout the duration of the story.
Personality
Freia is an individual said to carry great affection and warmth towards those around her, in the form of words and actions alike. She is often described by the members of the Ashen Wolves as being very motherly by nature, often guiding and assisting others with a gentle hand. She is known to quite often make the effort to care for others or provide for those in need, occasionally doing so to the detriment of her own needs or health. Despite this, she is rumoured to carry quite the temperament.Following an incident in Imperial Year 1178 between herself and an unnamed member of the Black Eagles house, rumours spread quite quickly regarding her true nature, describing her as a loose canon; often attributing her to being like a wildfire. Unruly, uncontrolled, yet strikingly beautiful by nature.

Cindered Shadows Chapter 6: Return to Me
Battle Quote
"Heh ... Sorry about all of the fuss. This little bird had a job to do. No hard feelings, right? Promise I'll make it up to you later."— Freia's battle quote
Retreat Quote
"Yuri... I'm sorry. Please, tell my Liege that I..."— Freia's retreat quote
Vs. Aelfric
Aelfric: Here I thought you'd find a mind of your own for once. But here you are... Clinging to your pack-leaders heels like a lost dog.
Freia: My life and my choices are my own. And I won't suffer the judgment from one so vile as you. Now, if you'd please... I'd much like to end this.
Cindered Shadows Chapter 7: Wolf Pack
Vs. Umbral Beast
Freia: It's almost a pity, the beast you've become... But not so terrible of a surprise, either. Putting you down would be a mercy most gracious, I think.
White Clouds Chapter 7: The Field of the Eagle and the Lion
Freia: The Battle of the Eagle and the Lion? Oh, that takes me back...
Freia: You know, I got to participate back when I was first enrolled. It was quite the thrill, I must admit.
Garreg Mach Monastery
Choir Practice
Oh, I've never been very good at this sort of thing...
Cooking
I'm not exactly the best in the kitchen. In fact, I'd dare say that I'd make for a better taste tester... Oh, but if you insist, at least let me add a little spice.
Dining Hall
Oh, it's been so long since I've had a meal this good. My thanks, friend.
I'm used to enjoying my meals alone, but company makes it all the better.
Ah, it reminds me of home... (Favourite dish)
I had hoped that it would taste better than it smells, but... I suppose I can't always win. (Disliked dish)
Recruitment
Requirements not met
Mm... I'm not so sure I'm ready for that level of committment yet. My apologies, but maybe ask again... Later.
Requirements met
I suppose I can lend a hand, yes. I've been told that I can be a bit... Unruly, though. So, if you don't mind a bit of chaos, then I suppose that I'm your girl.
Ask to join your house: I honestly never thought that I would see the day. But if you're offering the chance to stretch my wings? Then how could I possibly deny?
Decline to invite: Oh? Changed your mind already? I understand...
Gifts
You really know the way to a girl's heart, don't you? (Favourite gift)
How sweet. I'll make sure to put this up on my mantle. (Liked gift)
Ah ... Thank you, I suppose. (Disliked gift)

Me? No ... Not mine, sorry.
Oh! You've found it! I've been searching everywhere... Thank you, truly.

Early Life
Freia is a Mage from Grannvale, a member of House Velthomer and a descendant of the Crusader Fjalar. Born to a young and unwed mother, Freia was long believed to have been an illegitimate child of Victor, former Duke of Velthomer. After her discovery by a young Arvis, she was eventually brought as one of his charges. Eventually she would treated as a sister, living alongside both Arvis and his younger brother Azelle.Following the joining of House Velthomer, Freia's existence later became an open but poorly kept secret amongst the other noble houses of Grannvale. Most often, she was seen publicly only alongside Duke Arvis himself, with the sole exception being on the days that she decided to slip out of his sight. Though these attempts often ended in failure, and with harsh reprimands.
Profile
Freia's first appearance is in the Prologue, when she is seen entering the battlefield to assist with Sigurd's army in their attempts to rescue Edain of Yngvi following her kidnapping by the Verdane army. Having been sent by Arvis himself, her primary goal was to watch Azelle from afar to ensure he remained safe. Following a discussion with Sigurd and Arvis, Freia ultimately decided to remain with army as they continued their campaign into Verdane and beyond.Following the events of Chapter 3, Freia received a letter from Arvis requesting that she withdraw her support from Sigurd's army and return to Grannvale. Reluctantly, she agreed and returned home. After a difficult set of farewells, this would be the last time that anybody in Sigurd's army would see Freia again.

Profile
Prior to the events of The Sacred Stones, Freia was a mage living in Grado. Though she led a relatively recluse life, she was widely regarded for her knowledge of elder magic and her alchemic practices. Some time before the war, she was met by an old friend Knoll with the intention of enlisting her with assisting in the resurrection of Emperor Vigarde. Distraught and disgusted by the intended use of her magic, she declined the offer. Retreating into herself, withdrawing from society, and ultimately choosing to outcast herself once the knowledge of what Knoll had done reached her ears.Following her retreat from the capital, Freia is first seen in Chapter 12B. Appearing only briefly, she observes Prince Ephraim's army as they leave port, choosing to follow them into the mists. In the following chapter, Freia appears before Ephraim and offers to enlist as a member of his army. Expressing distaste for the current climate of the war, while keeping the truth buried.

House Liore is a minor house of Noble standing from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. Owed entirely to the lack of Crest inheritance, the Liore lineage was not seen as a priority for forming marriage contracts with. ・Ophelia Liane Liore (Deceased) - Freia's mother, the last head of House Liore. A graduate of the Officer's Academy and a court mage who served the crown of Faerghus.
